Volunteer Opportunities
Looking for a great way to contribute and get connected to your community?
Provo City has 30+ parks and trails that need volunteers to help maintain them. We partner with you in setting up project locations and times, as well as providing tools and any needed supervision.
Projects may include:
- Trail clearing and building
- Raking leaves and general clean-up at each park and at the cemetery
- Planting flowers and shrubs at some of Provo's parks
- Repair and painting park benches
- Cleaning out leaves and weeds from along fence lines and paths
- Painting restrooms and pavilions
- Removing weeds and non-native trees from various hillsides
- Tree planting (seasonal)
- Clearing out dead branches from the river
Volunteers can also adopt-a-flowerbed in downtown Provo or adopt-a-section of the Parkway Trail, where you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining from April through October.
Provo Parks is looking for groups who would like to adopt a flowerbed on Center Street. This program is ideal for families, church groups, businesses and clubs. We provide all the flowers and you get to design your bed. Projects begin in May and go until October. Enjoy raising flowers this summer with Provo City. For more information call 801-852-7607.
Groups of all sizes are welcome! Dates and times are flexible! If you can think of it we can plan it!
Friends, families, neighbors, scout troops, school clubs and church groups help the community by keeping Provo City beautiful! Get involved today!
